Let’s talk about the weather! Since I share little from my personal life right now… I have to do what feels right, and I need the time to sort out the big things, before I get the chance to reflect about it all in a way that is appropriate for the blog. But don’t worry, I won’t stay an oyster forever. The sunsets though… I can see its beauty, one day after another.
And I got myself a new lens to be able to show the bigger picture, literally. The one I wanted was triple the price I could afford, so I went for a Tamron 28-75 mm f/2.8 (never thought I would choose a zoom in the first place!). I will have a challenge dealing with the f/2.8 aperture, since I’m used to a f/1.4 and its possibilities, but it will work out some how! It’s fun to work with a little wider shoots though, very much needed when I photograph the house.
My painting outfit as I started a new painting – my first self portrait!
‘Hello October’ original for sale! And as a print here.
In the corner my self portrait. I’m always up to trying something new, so this time I will paint myself, sitting. Have no idea how it turns out. And that’s what I love the most about painting.
Chalk and wet paint… Listening to music and feeling the flow…
