Yes, what a day, or should I say week. I feel like I’ve been painting the kitchen all the time, and never got done. Light grey slowly turned into dark green. But finally I got done last night, just one DIY chandelier left to be done. I washed the floors this morning (and I’m not to tell you when last time was… ’cause I can’t remember…) because a visitor was on the train, on her way to our house for the first time. Maria came to say hello and have some lunch and coffee, and I had such a great time! She even brought me a vintage lamp with fringes! Will show you later. I’m not a very social person, so it was a very different day for me, talking for hours. And on her way over she told me Villa Betula was featured online at Norway’s biggest newspaper, Aftenposten, so it was almost more than I could handle in one day! Remember someone was here in December? So today it was featured online, BUT the most exciting thing happens tomorrow in their physical newspaper I think… The photos above was taken today after Maria left, because I needed to get myself back on ground with both my feet. First I bought some anemones to my husband and myself because I felt we deserved a little extra, and as you can see in the photos it’s cozy and calm in here. And if you wonder what that beauty on the last photo is, it’s my wedding ring. Wish all old and new readers a fabulous weekend!
