I’m having like ten projects going at one time. Always. It’s my nature, I guess (and I love that my husband is exact the same!). I constantly want to get done with things, but at the same time not. If I got done some day I would feel bored and left over. I have done some rearranging inside too (just in the beginning of it), but lets talk more about that later. Anyone who saw my stories on Instagram yesterday? You will know I was in the process of several things, and this lamp was one of them. I bought an old vintage lamp from the thrift shop, glued on fringes first (I’m so glad I put fringes on it!!!), then I just put on glue and layered it up with peacock feathers, really. No hassle, no stress, simple and fast. Because I don’t have patience when I make stuff, so it have to be easy! We have to get a new cord for it though, so right now it’s just hanging in some leftover textile from the ceiling. That’s how it’s done in Villa Betula! What do you think about the result!? I can make more if you want one 😉 PS. does it look a little macabre on the top?? I still haven’t decided wether to cut of the tops or not, so please feel free to leave an honest opinion!
Beautiful! 🙂
Thank you Jeska, kind of you! (and just so you know I’ve been having some trouble when I’ve tried to comment on your blog lately…)
