Lots has happen since January when Villa Betula opened its eyes for the first time. Mainly rooms has changed from lots of depressing white (yes, I have had my white period of course…) to darker, bolder and much more magical, cozy and calm. First out was the bathroom (and the whole change costed just 2000 Norwegian kroner/ 170 british punds/ 220 american dollars):
And second was the kitchen. The wall cabinets had to be changed, and new solutions had to be found. I switched places on different things, and shopped my own home. Shopping your own home is one of my best tips actually! So here is the before (kind of forgot to take this photos, but I found something) and after:
And the hallway. The first room you enter when you get home should really be one of your favorites. It was one of the worst rooms, but with some dark color to it – taaadaaa! Love it!
And last but not least – the music atelier. I have practically lived in there since it was done. It´s the boldest room so far, and the change was enormous, just have a look:
And you might think I´m done now? Oh no, I will never get done! The next project now is probably the color in “the cafeteria” and kitchen. And our bedroom. And much more. And I almost forgot about the outhouse where we are going to have our studio (to be continued in many parts when I have something interesting to show you guys!). It´s going to be smashing, but now it´s kind of like this:
Thank you for joining me on this journey! Which room is your favorite?
