Finally it was here, my parcel from For Good Luck (instagram here). So many of you probably know (or should get to know!) the Swedish duo Krickelin and Miranda. I don’t think there’s one day I don’t catch up on these two very inspiring and hard working women.
I’ve been drooling over Mir’s Duster in navy blue since the first day I saw it, and now it’s mine! I’ve felt so moody blue lately, so this was a perfect match. It’s might too nice to wear in the atelier… what do you think? After all, it’s “painting clothes” I use the most… Have to give it a thought!
And a leather laptop cover. I think I1ve been drooling even more over this than Mir’s Duster! I have been in serious need for something for my Mac, and with half price I couldn’t let it go. Doesn’t it all match my latest painting on linen very well? It’s just a question of time before they want me to be a part of their blue team, ha ha 😉
Things I’ve been working on this week which has kept me rather occupied is a POP-UP SHOP! I will have a shop open 2-3 days a week for 2-3 weeks (promise to get more precise as we get closer to the date!) in the town Hamar in Norway, on Østre torg. I will open the 22nd or 25th of January, yay! I will sell lots of my vintage furniture from Villa Betula and also some smaller things… should I bring paintings and prints? Or should I just focus on furniture, you think? And who is coming?!?! Are you? I will have coffee and sweets!
I do what I dreamed about: work on several paintings at once. I love my new atelier at home. But still I keep myself occupied with not only pop-up shop, but also new Pinterest strategies, collaborations, making a media kit and hopefully there’s might something on it’s way about mental health.
Yes, I’m keeping myself too occupied, you are right. I find it difficult to cope with my mind, it’s spinning all the time, even at night. So I want to do things I feel is important to me at the moment.
