The days fly, and there’s a surrealistic feeling about it all. And even though they fly, so much happens. I don’t have the needed focus or will to spend much time to photograph, write, paint or keep up on Instagram. I have to be where I’m most needed – for myself and for those around me. I even allow myself to share some “old” photos even though I have a new lens laying here, waiting to be used. I’ll get to it when I’m ready.

Hi Maren….Don’t do anything that doesn’t bring you joy or make you feel whole and good until you are ready to do so. Taking care of yourself will allow you to take care of others and other things much better. Sometimes we’re always in a rush to do the things we think that we “should” do, but often don’t stop long enough to see what it’s doing to us. So, take your time.
I want to tell you how inspiring your blog is…your style, your honest and heartfelt words, the way you photograph and what you portray in your images, your authenticity…..I think I’ve read through your whole blog at least 3 or 4 times. And now I need to paint every room in my house! 🙂 I thought my husband was going to choke when I told him that I’m painting the dining room black! He stared at me with huge eyes! But I truly love how you make your home, your own.
