WHAT TO BRING?

05/12/2017

What to bring for someone you admire, but have never met before? Crystals? Jewelry, brass, words of wisdom? Czech Koruna? I believe she’s smarter than any words of wisdom, and I don’t know if she’s in need of cash from another country… And she designs the prettiest jewelry herself… Maybe some brass and crystals then, she actually might like that. Let me give it a thought.

So, as mentioned earlier I’m leaving Thursday for a fab retreat and workshop, and this is me finding my wrinkled clothes to bring. I can just bring the size of a hand luggage on the airplane, so wish me luck, because I’ll need: bedlinen (read my post about sleeping in a dormitory right here…) which takes waaaaay too much space, winter clothes (I wear wool like constantly seven months a year!), regular clothes, work shoes for indoors (the reason for my sandals, I’m not going to Hawaii, but a winter cold Sweden), a couple of gifts, noise cancelling headset, a wind jacket (I want to use my velvet mulberry coat as much as possible, and really hate to bring a practical jacket! Should I leave it at home?), my camera bag with everything that includes… Towels, Mac, power sources for all kinds of things, ugh… How to make it? And maybe even something a little less casual because I’m asked to join something special in Stockholm Thursday evening. Yes, I definitely have to leave my wind jacket at home. No doubt about that.

And this wrinkled rusty coloured long sleeve is one of my favourites. The semi high neck, spiritual touch and luxurious feel really appeal to me.

You’ve probably seen them “all over” already, in other blogs and stories, but hey – I really like them! My Animal Spirit cards… the last weeks I’ve started my daily meditation routine by drawing a card. And these cards above have been in my life lately. I will consider to make them their own blogpost later, if you fancy? Much to say about it. I even studied five years of homeopathy and oriental medicine when I was really young, and these cards build up around the five elements like oriental medicine (though the tree element is changed out for spirit in these cards). I’ve used card decks the last 10-12 years, but I’v had a long break from it. Don’t know why, but I want to let you know these are my all time favourites!

So, what to bring except a gift for someone I admire, some wrinkly clothes and a camera? Maybe the panthers trust, the camels wealth of nourishment within, and the treasure of the black egg – the truth…

MI.

ABOUT ME

I do and share things by heart. I create personal texts, am a musician, sell original art and prints, make a special home and capture the magic with my camera – everything rather dark hued. Villa Betula is not just skimming the tops.

And by the way - my name is Maren Ingeborg Gråblomst and I’m Norwegian. Gråblomst means grey flower.
